MARGAO: Two policemen attached to Colva police station died after they were hit by a speeding car in Seraulim around midnight on Saturday.
Shailesh Gaonkar (30), resident of Balli, died on the spot, while Vishwas Deykar (32), a resident of Ambaulim, succumbed to his injuries while being taken to a hospital.
The incident occurred when the cops were on nakabandi duty in the area at around 12.20am, police said.
