Gorakhpur. Railways releases its revenue figures every year. For the last two years, the recovery from fines is breaking all the records till now. The reason is that in many zones of the country there is a competition to include names in the millionaire club in the TTE cadre. However, so far only selected names have been included in it. But the new record has come from two TTEs of North Eastern Railway (NER) who have broken all the records till now.
During the financial year 2022-23, Rizwanullah has collected the maximum fine in North Eastern Railway, which is two crore one lakh rupees (2,01,14,080). The second number is Jagpreet, who has created a new record in Indian Railways by collecting a fine of more than two crores (Rs 2,01,09,700). Both are posted in TTE Gorakhpur.

It is believed that for the first time in Indian Railways, a TTE has collected a fine of Rs 2 crore. However, the North Eastern Railway (NER) has released a list of 10 TTEs who have been fined the most. In this, it has been told that in the financial year 2022-23, the North Eastern Railway has collected a fine of about Rs 130 crore from 18.53 lakh ticketless passengers, which is 20 crore more than the last year’s Rs 110 crore.
Ajay Singh, who collected Rs 1,47,46,370 as fine, is third in the North Eastern Railway. Earlier, many TTEs in Bilaspur Zone, Mumbai Zone and South East Railway Zone have collected accolades by including their names in the millionaire club after collecting a fine of more than one crore.
