TS LAWCET Counselling 2023 Delayed, Will Now Take Place in October – News18

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has deferred the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 2023 counselling process. The process will begin in October. Previously, the counselling was slated to begin in August/ September. However, it has been delayed by one more month.

TS LAWCET phase 1 counselling 2023 dates and notification will be released soon on the official website at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The official notification read, “Counseling or Admission Notification will be out by TSCHE tentatively in the Month of OCTOBER.”

The TS LAWCET counselling process includes registration, payment of the prescribed fee, document submission, certificate verification, exercise web options, seat allotment result announcement, downloading of fee payment, and joining report. After the completion of fee payment and declaration of the seat allocation results, shortlisted candidates must report to the allotted college. Candidates should keep in mind that they need to carry the original certificates while visiting the college.

The registration fee for general category candidates is Rs 800, while candidates from the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories will have to pay Rs 500.

TS LAWCET Counselling 2023: Documents Required

— TS LAWCET 2022 rank card

— Valid government ID Proof

— Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and passing certificates

— Physically handled (PH)/ National Cadet Corps (NCC)/ Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) certificates, if applicable

— Domicile certificate and transfer certificate

— Migration certificate

— Certificate of Qualifying examination

— Integrated community certificate

— Employer certificate, if applicable

— Income certificate, if required

The Osmania University, Hyderabad, on behalf of the TSCHE, announced the TS LAWCET 2023 results on June 25. Almost 36,218 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which only 29, 049 have qualified. Among these students, Sriram Boddu topped in the TS LAWCET 3-year 2023 with 97.594977 marks while, with a perfect 100 marks, Mohd Mahboob secured rank 1 in TS LAWCET 5-year results.

The entrance exam was conducted into three categories— general knowledge, current events, and aptitude for the study of law. The exam carried a total of 120 questions with a duration of 90 minutes. It was conducted in either English and Urdu or English and Telugu. There was no negative marking.
