TS ECET 2024 Registration to Start From February 15, Exam on May 6 – News18

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will soon start registration for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) on February 15. Candidates willing to apply can visit the official website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education at ecet.tsche.ac.in. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education will conduct the TS ECET 2024 on May 6.

Candidates must be aware that registration for TS ECET 2024 with a late fee will end on April 16. The board will open the edit window for submitted online applications by the candidate from April 24 to April 28, and the TS ECET 2024 admit card will be released on May 1. It is to be noted that the board has invited applications for the Diploma and BSc (Mathematics) degree holders for lateral entry admission into Bachelor of Technology, Engineering, and Pharmacy programmes in Telangana.

TS ECET Counselling 2023: How to Register

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education at tsecet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link titled ‘Registration’ on the portal’s homepage.

Step 3: Upon clicking, a new window will appear where candidates have to enter their TS ECET Hall ticket number and date of birth.

Step 4: Login and fill out the application form with the required academic and personal details.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents in the format mentioned.

Step 6: Make payment of the registration fee and book your slots.

Step 7: Complete the process by clicking on submit button and download the confirmation page for future reference.

TS ECET 2024: Exam Pattern

Talking about the exam pattern, the TS ECET exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and candidates will have a duration of three hours to attempt the exam. The TS ECET exam will be conducted online.

There will be four sections in the question paper for the diploma holder, including physics, chemistry, mathematics, and engineering. The division of marks as per subjects is as follows: 50 for mathematics, 25 each for physics and chemistry, and 100 for engineering papers.

Also, there will be three sections for the BSc Mathematics question paper, including Mathematics, Analytical Ability, and Communicative English. The division of marks as per subjects is 100 for mathematics and 50 each for analytical ability and communicative English.
