A video is going viral on social media, in which a man is seen cleaning scooty with the tricolour. Delhi Police has registered a case after the video went viral. He has been sent to jail. The police have also confiscated his scooty and the tricolor has also been recovered. However, in whose name the scooty is, the police have not disclosed it.
In the 29-second video, the man was seen insulting the tricolor. He cleaned the seat first, then wiped the front glass. After this, the entire scooty was cleaned with the tricolor. According to the police, the insurance of the car has also expired. It is being told that he cleans his scooty in the same way every day.
What did Delhi Police say?
Taking cognizance of the matter, Delhi Police said- A case has been registered against the accused after the video of insulting the tricolor went viral on social media. An FIR has been lodged against him under the Prevention of Insults to National Honor Act, 1971 under two sections. Legal action was initiated in the matter.
