TMC’s Nusrat Jahan has shamed Indian culture by applying vermilion: Dilip Ghosh of BJP

West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh said that Trinamool Congress MP Nusrat Jahan has shamed Indian culture by applying sindoor, calling a man her husband and later saying that she is not married.

Ghosh said, “Nusrat Jahan got married wearing sindoor, introduced a man as her husband, invited the chief minister to the wedding and now she says she is not married. This is a gross insult to Indian culture. “

He asked the TMC MP from Basirhat Lok Sabha constituency to resign for “betraying the people”. “It could be the ideology of Saugata Babu (TMC MP) and not the ideology of India or Bengal.”

Nusrat Jahan’s troubles are increasing after BJP MP Sanghamitra Maurya filed a complaint against her for giving false information in her affidavit in Parliament. “An appropriate action under the relevant rules of procedure may be reported to the Lok Sabha and/or the matter may be referred to the Ethics Committee for a detailed inquiry into his illegal and ethical conduct,” Maurya said in the letter. She also attached Nusrat’s Lok Sabha profile, in which she has named her husband as Nikhil Jain. “Her media statement about her marital status contradicts her oath for Lok Sabha membership in which she was sworn in as Nusrat Jahan Ruhi Jain. This effectively renders his membership as illegal,” the letter said.

In a letter dated June 9, Nusrat Jahan claimed that her marriage with businessman Nikhil Jain was not legal but a live-in relationship as their marriage in Turkey was not recognized under Indian law.
