Mumbai Police has taken two more people into custody in connection with the scuffle with cricketer Prithvi Shaw. According to the Mumbai Police, a total of three people have been arrested so far. 5 people are still absconding. All the three arrested accused will be produced in the court today. At the same time, Sapna Gill, the accused in the case, was presented by the police in the Andheri court on Friday. Sapna has been sent to police custody till February 20.
On the other hand, the Oshiwara police recorded the statement of Shaw’s friend Ashish Yadav again. According to Ashish Yadav, the accused girl had threatened to kill him. Mumbai Police has added Section 387 (extortion to a person by putting him in fear of death or grievous hurt) in the FIR.

The whole matter was about selfie. A video of this is also going viral. In this, Shaw is seen snatching a baseball bat from a girl. At the same time, the companion of that girl is seen making a video of Shaw. The girl and her partner alleged that Shaw and his friends assaulted them at the dance club, then attacked them with baseball bats outside.
The incident is near a five star hotel in Santacruz, Mumbai. The police had arrested a girl named Sapna Gill. According to the police, Sapna is a social media influencer.
Girl accuses Shaw
In the viral video, the girl, her partner, Prithvi Shaw and some policemen are seen. Shaw is seen talking to someone on the phone. The girl and her accomplice say that they too had gone to party, but Shaw’s friends assaulted them in the club.
The boy said he was trying to take a selfie and video with Shaw when Shaw snatched his phone, threw it and pushed him. At the same time, Sapna Gill’s lawyer Ali Kashif Khan has accused Prithvi Shaw of misbehaving with his client.
According to the police, Sana alias Sapna Gill is a social media influencer.
Prithvi’s friend lodged an FIR
Mumbai Police’s DCP Anil Paraskar told that on the complaint of Prithvi’s friend Ashish Surendra Yadav, Oshiwara Police has registered an FIR against 8 people. In these, an FIR has been registered against Sana alias Sapna Gill and Shobhit Thakur. They have been accused of breaking the glass of Prithvi’s friend’s car and assault. Shaw was present in the car during this time.
Shaw’s friend has also accused the accused of chasing his car, suppressing the case and demanding Rs 50,000, threatening to make a false case. Sapna Gill was arrested by the police on Thursday evening. Sapna’s medical has been done and she will be produced in the court on Friday. Paraskar said that the search for the remaining accused is on.

Police pacified the matter

During this, some officers from Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station also reached there and somehow pacified the matter.
Photo was uploaded on Valentine’s Day, then removed
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, a photo was shared from Prithvi Shaw’s Instagram handle. In this, his rumored girlfriend Nidhi was seen with him. In the post, Prithvi wished Valentine, calling her his wife.
However, after some time Prithvi deleted the post. Giving clarification on this post, Prithvi said that he did not post these photos. Someone has edited his photos and uploaded them on his account.
After deleting the post on February 14, Prithvi had shared this story giving clarification in this matter.
Shaw is playing in DY Patil T20 Cup
