In a school in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, Muslim youths threatened girls to befriend by waving weapons. The youth said – make friends, otherwise they will be taken away. It is said that the students of the school were also beaten up for opposing this. The police have registered an FIR against the youths in this case.

The incident took place on Saturday at Project Plus 2 School in Ormanjhi. The girls informed about this to the family members. After the incident, a meeting was held in the school campus on Saturday. Local public representatives, social workers, officials and school teachers participated in the meeting. In this, detailed information about the incident was taken from the students.

After that the full details of the case were given to Ormanjhi police station. There is a lot of outrage among the local people after the incident. Responding to a question on threats being made by a particular community, the police said the team would investigate. It is being told that an FIR has been registered against some other youths including five named. Police declined to be named.

Regarding the incident, Rural SP Naushad Alam said that the SSP had received information. FIR has been registered. Investigation is being started. Strict action will be taken against the violators. He told that an SIT of five members has been formed. It is headed by the local DSP.
