Poster controversy has been going on in Karnataka for the last several days. A day earlier, in Vijaypura district, the BJP pasted the photographs of Savarkar in the regional head office of the Congress. Now the Hindu Sena has threatened that their organization will cut off the hands of those who try to remove the posters of Savarkar.

Hindu Sena chief Pramodi Muthalik said Savarkar was not against the Muslims, he was against the British. If any Muslim or any Congress worker touches the pictures or posters of Savarkar that we have put up, we will cut off his hands and throw them away. This is our warning. Savarkar has fought for the country for 23 years. We will ensure that Savarkar’s contributions and his works are reflected in every corner.

Savarkar and Tilak’s posters will be put up at 15 thousand places in the state
Rakesh Ramamurthy, President of Hindu Mahasabha Gauri Ganesh Seva Samiti said that we have included the pictures of Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Veer Savarkar on the posters of Ganesh Chaturthi.
