Sivakarthikeyan is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Ayalaan, directed by R Ravikumar.
Sivakarthikeyan is one of the prominent stars in the Tamil Movie Industry. The Don actor has time and again impressed his audience with amazing performances. He is known for his movies like Doctor, Ethir Neechal, Maaveeran, Namma Veetu Pillai and many more. The actor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Ayalaan, helmed by R Ravikumar. It is set to hit the theatre in Pongal in 2024.
Amid the hype around the movie, the makers just launched the trailer of Ayalaan. At the trailer launch of the movie, Sivakarthikeyan talked about the release of the film getting postponed. He also addressed how this movie will not send any wrong message to the children. He shared that the movie will not inculcate anything wrong in children.
Ayalaan is billed as a science-fiction drama, where Sivakarthikeyan’s character develops an unlikely bond with an alien. The intergalactic movie seems to be promising and will be a fun ride not just for children but for adults as well. He said, “This is a film for your children and the child in you.”
He also opened up about the delayed launch of the movie. Sivakarthikeyan informed, “The VFX company has requested more time so that the scenes can be shown in a better way. The film Ayalaan which was planned for a Diwali release will now release during Pongal 2024.”
The actor will forego his pay as the movie has been facing a huge financial crisis. He said at the event, “I don’t prioritise making money. But, I have earned director Ravikumar. He said that he will join a film again.”
The trailer has impressed the fans. A user wrote, “A different concept for Tamil cinema.” Another wrote, “I don’t care if the film is a hit or a flop, we need to support such immense VFX works if we want a place in the world cinema. I believe in Ravikumar Sir and wish the team great success.”
Ayalaan has many prominent names in the star cast apart from Sivakarthikeyan. It will feature Rakul Preet Singh, Yogi Babu, Bhanupriya and Sharad Kelkar, among others.
