Hailing from Bihar’s Purnia district, Shivesh Kumar’s path to success was forged through his love for music and unwavering determination, allowing him to overcome adversity and make his mark in the field of education.
Born into an underprivileged family, Shivesh Kumar discovered his passion for music at an early age. To support his education, he took to singing at various events, from stage performances to Bhakti Jagrans, and thus began his journey as a young breadwinner for his family. Shivesh’s musical talent eventually led him to explore the world of academia.
During his post-graduation studies at Tilka Manjhi University in Bhagalpur, Shivesh Kumar exhibited his dynamism and consistently excelled in his music-related subjects. His dedication to his studies and his music was rewarded when he earned three gold medals in three different subjects during his post-graduation. The then Chancellor, Lalji Tandon, recognized Shivesh’s exceptional academic achievements, marking a significant milestone in his journey.
Fueled by his passion for music and his growing prowess in the field, Shivesh ventured into teaching music in private schools. His ability to share his musical knowledge with young students soon became evident, as he continued to make a difference in their lives through education. Shivesh Kumar’s journey took a significant turn when he appeared for the Bihar Public Service Commission Teacher Recruitment Examination (BPSC TRE) and successfully cracked it. His remarkable achievement secured him a position as an associate professor at a prominent university, where he would have the opportunity to impart his extensive knowledge of music to his students.
