Third toll plaza started in Panipat: installed on Haryana-UP border; 70 to 660 rupees tax, burden on commuters of Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand

Another history was created in the historic city of Haryana, Panipat. Third toll plaza has been started in the district. Vehicle drivers are being charged at the toll plaza built on NH-709D outside Tamshabad village of Sanauli in Panipat border near Haryana-UP border.

Here a fee ranging from Rs 70 for a car to Rs 660 for a heavy vehicle has been fixed. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has strict orders that there will be a toll within a radius of 60 kilometers across the country. However, contrary to these orders, work has been done in Panipat. Here the third toll has been started in the same district.

Tender has been given to Meerut’s company
Due to having only one cash lane on this toll, there is a situation of jam here. Although four lanes have been made on both sides. Out of which 3-3 lanes are of Fastag and 1-1 lane of cash. A 22-hour toll barrier trial was started from Monday, which ended at 8 am on Wednesday.

Now regular toll fee has been started here. NHAI has given the tender of toll to Umesh & Company of Meerut, UP. The company took one day trial of Tamshabad toll on Tuesday and the trial has been successful.

These are vehicle charges
One way toll for the car is Rs 70 and return Rs 100. One-way toll for light commercial vehicles is Rs 110 and return toll is Rs 165. Bus and truck toll tax of Rs 230 for one way and Rs 345 for return has been fixed.

Apart from this, there is a one-way fare of Rs 250, 360 and 440 on other heavy vehicles. The toll for both the sides has been fixed at Rs 380, 545 and 660. On the other hand, such vehicle owners living nearby, who do up-down from their work every day, can also get their pass made at the rate of Rs.315 per month by showing the RC of their vehicle.
