There is no benefit to the workers from the new budget, the government caught by turning its ears: Rupam Pandey – Rail Hunt

PRAYAGRAJ: Leaders discussed on budget and pension at Headquarters of North Central Railway Employees Union / Umre / Prayagraj. In-charge Rupam Pandey said in a statement that in the presented budget, the middle class workers have been caught by the government just by turning their ears. Let me tell you that there was benefit in old resume tax because there was exemption in saving under 8oc, the common man used to make arrangements for children’s education, marriage and old age.

Dream Home – Apna Ghar

There was some exemption in interest and principal amount in home loan for purchase/construction of house. In the 80 D medical policy, there was treatment and exemption in the disease, while there is no exemption in the new tax, there is no benefit to the middle class. Even after paying full tax to the government, the workers are feeling cheated because the government is taking tax on every item, food, medicine etc. Taxes have to be paid even on education, marriage, house purchase. Tax is being taken multiple times from one worker.

The government workers had hoped that the central government would restore the old pension like some states, but the government has disappointed while the ministers and leaders are taking pension and the workers have been kept pensionless. The government has given only lollipops to the workers. Branch President Ajay Singh, Brijesh Chauhan, Sabhajit Choubey, Virendra Kumar, Vipul Pandey, Amarendra Tiwari, Prahlad Kumar, Akintesh Pandey etc were present in the meeting.
