The state has been forced to change the name of the housing scheme due to pressure from the Center, Shuvendur claimed in a tweet

The Mamata government has been forced to withdraw its name from the central project. Opposition leader Shuvendu Adhikari tweeted this. He shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp message sent to the video on Twitter. In it, the videos have been warned to have a suitable logo painted on the house of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme.

Shuvendubabu wrote on Twitter, ‘The district magistrate has sent this urgent message to the video. In it, the BDOs have been asked to paste the ‘correct’ name and logo of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme before inspecting the central party. That logo has also been sent. ‘ Shuvendubabu feared that there might be an attempt to put dust in the eyes of the central delegation. Therefore, he advised the central representatives to visit the house of the project as per their wish without listening to the video.

Since coming to power in 2011, Mamata Banerjee’s government has been accused of renaming one central project after another. Similarly, allegations were leveled against the Trinamool government for changing the name of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme to Bangla Housing Scheme. The central government issued the first letter in August 2016 opposing this. But the Mamata government did not back down. Then last month, the Union Ministry of Rural Development sent a letter to the state government in this regard. Strictly speaking, they will stop the grant if the central project is not run in the name given by the center. As a result, the state will be deprived of the Centre’s new project called Awas Plus.

Experts say the state government has taken action after the Centre’s warning. Because the Mamata government is not in a position to bear the financial loss for changing the name given by the Center. So the decision to change the logo soon seven.
