Pawan used to get the father honored first in the honor ceremonies selected for the IAS.

A film like story of father’s struggle and son’s dedication has a sad ending. The people of Nagaur are shocked by this. The father died in an accident on Monday night.

Actually, the truck driver’s father spent his life doing earthen pots and truck driving to make his son an IAS. The son also held the hand of his self-respecting father on every stage, but due to an accident, this unique pair broke up. The father loved his work, he considered work as worship, so even when the son became an officer, he did not give up driving. Son is currently doing IAS training.

The name of Pawan Prajapat, a resident of Jayal Tehsil of Nagaur, came into the limelight when he secured 551th rank in UPSC. His father Rameshwar Lal Prajapat was an ally of his success. Who took out his life on the streets to fulfill the dream of his son.

Although, when Pawan was selected for the IAS, he was still in the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS), but in the midst of all this, his father never stopped driving a truck.

When the son refused, he left to drive another’s truck and bought his own truck on finance. Actually, Rameshwar (54) continued to consider his work as God and taught the same to both his sons. Pawan’s younger brother is preparing for the competition.

coincidence or irony

On Monday evening, Rameshwar was returning to Nagaur with a truck, but an uncontrollable trolley hit his truck in Dausa’s storm. In this accident, Rameshwar died on the spot. This was the same place where he got information about his son’s selection in the IAS a few months back.

Rameshwar Lal ran the family by driving a truck. The studies of son Pawan Kumar were not allowed to stop. Had to take loan.

Rameshwar Prajapat used to make pottery in the ancestral village of Somana. For better education of the children, he left the village and made a hideout in Nagaur. About 20 years ago, he started driving a truck on a salary of only 1500 rupees per month.

On behalf of the truck owner, he used to get money for food separately on the way, but Rameshwar used to take flour and dal along with him and where he stopped the truck, he would cook and eat it. He used to spend this savings on the education of his children.

He never took drugs. For this reason he was also the favorite driver of truck owners. The children were watching and understanding the father’s struggle closely. His sweat became a pearl when his eldest son Pawan got selected in RAS in 2018. The son forbade him to drive the truck, but Rameshwar continued with his work.

After selection in civil service, Pawan was respected in many cities including Nagaur, Jodhpur, Kuchaman. His father also appeared on every stage with Pawan. Both father and son would be respected on the stage. Rameshwar was probably the only truck driver whose son was an IAS. After being selected in the IAS, Bhaskar was told in an interview by Pawan Prajapat that in 2006, Govind Jaiswal, son of a rickshaw driver, became an IAS. I had read this news in the news paper. After this, it was decided that when the son of a rickshaw driver can become an IAS, then why can’t the son of a truck driver become an IAS? Then didn’t look back.
