Congress has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Shimla as disappointing. Congress State President Pratibha Singh said that the Prime Minister during his address has tried to show that everything has happened only in these eight years.

Pratibha Singh said that inflation has snatched the livelihood of the poor and the Prime Minister did not even mention inflation. He said that the gardeners of Himachal have been demanding for a long time to increase the import duty on apples. In view of this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also promised to increase the import duty on apples in Sujanpur rally in 2014, but even after eight years this promise was not fulfilled.
