When the last hearing was held in April, the Election Commission had said that it was not its job to stop the parties from making promises. It is up to the public’s discretion to believe those promises, not to believe them, right or wrong. Now only the public would understand all this, then why would those who distribute these free ravadis win?

By understanding the meaning here is that who is saved from greed and greed? The parties which keep on making promises of freebies are also doing all this because of the greed of votes. Then what is the fault of the people?

Someone promises to waive off farmers’ loans. Some unemployed have to pay two or three thousand rupees. Promises salary, someone gives free laptops, mobile phones on winning elections. After all, if all this is not a way to influence elections, then what is? In such a situation, how can the Election Commission escape by saying that this is not its job?

Well, AAP’s Kejriwal had recently come to Gujarat promising employment guarantee and three thousand rupees to the unemployed. There are elections in Gujarat and Himachal in October-November. People always fall in the trap of these promises. In such a situation, if the Supreme Court can give some order or the Central Government can make some law by bringing any law in the Parliament, then some way can definitely come out for a fair and holy election.

Then why only Kejriwal, who didn’t distribute free things after all? What Congress, what BJP! And the regional parties had crossed the limit. Even promises were made to provide pulses, rice and other grains free of cost. But can the elections held in the atmosphere of such promises be called fair? Then the parties that distribute these free ravadis, when they come to power, whose money is spent in fulfilling the promises? Of the government
