On Wednesday evening, a lock-like object was seen falling on the bridge from the second Hooghly bridge towards Kazipara in Howrah. It was like an antenna. In the meanwhile, light like ‘Blinker’ is seen shining on that blue colored object. There is a lot of panic surrounding that object. As the lights like ‘Blinker’ continue to shine, many people are terrified thinking it is a ‘time bomb’. Being a digital object increases the panic.
Meanwhile, Howrah City Police was informed. A bomb squad also arrived at the scene. Traffic on the bridge is controlled. The members of the bomb squad started the test. Police later said the object was not an explosive. The digital part of a car. Probably a car meter. Police officials believe it fell out of the car while crossing the bridge. Sources said that the thing will be tested.
