Nirmala Sitharaman’s tweet…

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman questioned the bank by sharing the video.

The Finance Minister asked the bank – is there no bank friend?
The video of the woman was shared by Sitharaman on Twitter. He said- We are seeing that the bank managers are giving answers on this, but the Finance Department and SBI took steps on this matter showing humanity. Don’t have bank friends? The bank manager had replied that the woman’s fingers are broken and that is why she is having difficulty in withdrawing money. We will solve this problem soon.

The bank told the Finance Minister by tweeting 3- We are also sad to see this
SBI made 3 tweets after the Finance Minister’s tweet. SBI wrote- We are also feeling sad after seeing this video. Elderly Surya Harijan used to withdraw pension every month from the CSP point located in his village. Being old, his finger prints are not matching.

She had gone to our branch at Jharigaon along with her relative. Our manager immediately debited him from his account. The bank manager told us that now every month he will get pension at his home. We have also decided to give a wheel chair to this old man.

Sarpanch of Jharigaon says that a list of such people is being prepared and they will also be provided pension at home.

Earlier pension was given in cash, now it is transferred online but there was a technical flaw
Earlier pension was given in cash, but now money is being transferred online in the accounts. The bank said that sometimes such a situation arises that the fingerprints do not match, due to which there is a problem in disbursing the pension amount. Because of this, Surya did not get pension for the last 4 months.
