In Hyderabad, a bride called off her marriage after getting less dowry than the groom. Actually, there is a tradition in the tribal society that dowry is given not by the bride but by the groom. Regarding this, the girl had demanded that she needed Rs 2 lakh in dowry. Although the boys had agreed to give the money, but the girl did not reach the mandap itself. The matter is of Thursday, its information has now come to the fore.

The girl was not interested in marriage so made an excuse
The wedding mandap was decorated, the boys and the guests had also reached. Waited for the bride for hours but she did not arrive. Due to this the groom and his family reached the hotel where the bride was staying. Angry boys went there and asked many questions from the bride’s side. Where it came to know that the bride was not interested in the marriage, so he called off the marriage on the pretext of dowry.

The groom and his family had complained about this to the police. The police reached the spot and called the bride’s family to discuss the matter. After this both the families settled it among themselves and the marriage broke up. However, no case was registered against anyone.
