Alert at station after threat
There is alert at Ludhiana railway station after Pannu’s threat. Security has been increased at the railway station. The GRP has got 41 additional police personnel to enhance patrolling and security. Railway stations and police posts have been alerted. Patrolling is being done along the railway tracks. The additional force deployed at the railway station includes one sub-inspector, five constables and 35 home guards, who will assist the GRP.

GRP SP Balram Rana told that instructions have been given to stay alert after meeting with the police officers. He said that officers have been deployed at the tricolor and other important places.
He said that the duty has been increased from 8 hours to 10 hours for three days. Strict guidelines have been issued to the officials to keep an eye on the miscreants.
