Telangana State Public Service Commission Announces Date For Group 1 Prelims 2024 – News18

The Prelims will be conducted in English, Telugu and Urdu.

The Preliminary Test (Objective type) will include General Studies and Mental Ability. This test aims to shortlist candidates for the Written (Main) Examination.

The Telangana State Public Service Commission has published the exam date for the TSPSC Group 1 Prelims 2024. Those who are applying can view the official notification on the TSPSC’s official website at tspsc.gov.in.

According to the official notification, the Group-I Services General Recruitment Preliminary Test is scheduled for June 9. The Preliminary Test will take place in the former 10 districts. Applicants must select their preferred district centres in order of preference from the listed former districts for the Preliminary test. Once chosen, district centres cannot be changed.

The registration process commenced on February 23 and concluded on March 14. This recruitment campaign aims to fill 563 vacancies in various departments under Group-I Services General Recruitment.

Candidates were required to pay an application processing fee of Rs 200 along with an examination fee of Rs 120. However, unemployed candidates were exempt from paying the fee.

The selection process consists of two stages: Preliminary and Main examinations. Candidates must achieve a satisfactory score in both the prelims and mains exams to be considered for selection in TSPSC Group 1.

Those selected in TSPSC Group 1 are appointed to various positions such as Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Treasury Officer, Mandal Parishad Development Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Municipal Commissioner Gr. II, Commercial Tax Officer, Deputy Collector, Assistant Excise Superintendent, and numerous other posts.

2. On the homepage, click on ‘New Registration OTR’ and complete candidate registration.

3. Register and proceed with the application process.

4. Fill out the application form.

5. Upload all the necessary documents.

6. Pay the application fee.

7. Submit the form and make sure to take a printout for future reference.
