This centenary memorial pillar has been installed in front of the main gate of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. In this, Peepal tree will be 15 feet, width will be 25 feet. For this, the pedestal ie base has been made of 35 feet. Altogether this pillar is 60 feet high. Taken from the ‘Logo’ of Bihar, this Peepal tree has 243 leaves, which symbolizes the 243 members of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, including the pros and cons. The tree of Bihar ‘logo’ is the Mahabodhi tree. The pedestal is pink stone. The entire Shatabdi tree is made of bronze. It has four bronze swastika symbols around it.

Its designed model was launched by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. It has been designed by sculptors Amrit Prakash Sah and Jeetu. Amrit Prakash is a passout of Patna Art College and hails from Sahebganj.

Security tightened for PM’s visit

Strict and strict arrangements were made by the Patna Police regarding the security of the Prime Minister.
