TATA IPL 2022 Final Preview: GT Vs RR – Who will Win the Final Glory of Indian Premiere League?

Rajasthan Royals have entered their second final after the first IPL 2008 season, which they won under the tutelage of Late Shane Warne, who was the coach, captain and player of the Rajasthan Royals in their title winning season. It would be a great tribute for Shane Warne, if Samson and company win this year’s IPL trophy.

Like always RR needs a good start to their innings. Jos Buttler has been in terrific form in the last two matches played. He had scored fifty in the playoff one match against Gujarat Titans and followed with an unbeaten century against Royal Challengers Bangalore on May 27. Jos Buttler has equaled the record of Virat Kohli, who had scored four IPL centuries in a single season in IPL 2016 season.

The bowlers who leaked runs against GT in their previous encounter are also back in form. Prasidh Krishna, Trent Boult and Obed McCoy did a good job against RCB. Bowling first, the RR bowlers restricted RCB to just 157 runs. But the middle order and the form of spinners will worry RR ahead of this main clash.

Playing XI of Rajasthan Royals –

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Devdutt Padikkal, Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Obed McCoy and Yuzvendra Chahal.
