The Madras High Court has ordered a second autopsy of a Class 12 student who died by suicide by jumping off her hostel building after she was allegedly harassed by two teachers at her school in Kallakurchi, Salem district.
The preliminary post-mortem report states that the girl may have died due to hemorrhage and shock due to injuries. Parents have refused to take the body of their child and have demanded action against the school management and the teachers. They also demanded that the post mortem must be conducted again. A police investigation is on in the case.
