The court has said that if they believe their mobile devices were hacked by Pegasus malware, they can approach the technical committee.

The Supreme Court-appointed committee probing the Pegasus spyware spying case has issued a public notice. In this notice, it has sought details from people who believe that their mobile phones have been hacked with Pegasus malware. On Sunday, the Supreme Court-appointed technical committee to check illegal espionage issued a notice urging citizens to contact them.

The court has said that if they believe their mobile devices were hacked by Pegasus malware, they can approach the technical committee. The notice also urged citizens to provide reasons why they believe their device may have been hacked by Pegasus. Grievances can be sent to the Technical Committee by January 7 at check@pegasus-india-investigation.in.

Also tell the committee that you will get the device tested
“If the Committee believes that your response to the suspicion of a device being hacked with malware warrants further investigation, the Committee will request you to allow the investigation of your device,” the committee said in its notice. In October, a Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice NV Ramana had constituted a technical committee comprising Dr. Naveen Kumar Choudhary, Dr. Prabhakaran and Dr. Ashwin Anil Gumaste to probe the allegations of espionage.
