Sakal Hindu Samaj is going to take out Hindu Jan Aakrosh Rally in Mumbai on 5 February. Even before this, Shaheen Abdullah had filed a petition in the Supreme Court to ban this rally. The petitioner said that anti-Muslim provocative speeches can be made during this rally. That’s why the court should intervene in this matter.

The matter was in the bench of Justice KM Joseph and Justice JB Pardiwala. During the hearing, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta gave the undertaking.

Responsible officer should do videography of rally or meeting- SC
The bench said that if the Maharashtra government gives permission for the rally to the Sakal Hindu Samaj, then the responsible authorities will take immediate action against those who make inflammatory speeches. For this they should do videography of the entire event. Which should also be deposited in the court. Apart from this, the court also directed to investigate the allegations of inflammatory speeches given during January 29.

SG asked- Why is the person from Kerala upset by the rally in Mumbai?
Solicitor General Mehta raised questions on the petitioner and asked why a petitioner from Kerala was worried about the program being held in Maharashtra. Selected cases are being registered in the court. Can this platform be misused like this?”
Petitioner’s counsel Kapil Sibal said that in the meeting held on January 29, serious statements were made by an MP from the ruling party. That’s why it should be considered before giving permission to the next event.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had expressed regret on Thursday that despite orders no one is taking action against hate speech. If asked to curb such statements and issue directions, he will have to be embarrassed again and again.
