Sunday Box Office Report: Ayushmann’s film ‘Anek’ declared a flop, Kartik shines on the second weekend too

Actor Kartik Aaryan’s hard work in visiting different cities to meet his fans is paying off. His new film ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ has surprised even the people watching the film business by making a great collection on Sunday. At the same time, after Ayushmann Khurrana’s previous film ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’, another film ‘Anek’ has also been declared a flop. Day 10 of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’

The film ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ adorned with actors like Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu has made a splendid collection of Rs 12.77 crore on the second Sunday of its release i.e. on the 10th day. The film had earned Rs 92.05 crore in the first week. After this, the film earned Rs 6.52 crore on the second Friday and Rs 11.35 crore on the second Saturday. The total earnings of the film till the 10th day have been Rs 122.69 crores.

‘Manek’ declared a flop on the third day itself

Atrangi actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s frequent swim against the current of Hindi cinema is no longer liked by his fans. His new film ‘Anek’, which opened on Friday with an opening of Rs 2.11 crore, gave some hope with an opening of Rs 2.20 crore on Saturday but Sunday’s collection fell below Rs 2 crore to Rs 1.95 crore. Netflix has already bought the OTT rights of the film made at a cost of around Rs 40 crore. The film has flopped in theatres.

‘F3’ collection improves in Telugu

Venkatesh, Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Tej’s Telugu film ‘F3 – Fun and Frustration’ also improved its collections on Sunday. The film’s collection, which opened on Friday with an opening of Rs 15.60 crore, fell to Rs 13.05 crore on Saturday. On Sunday, the film collected a collection of Rs 14.10 crore with an increase of about eight percent. The first weekend collection of the film stood at Rs 42.75 crore.

‘Don’ in Tamil

On the other hand, actor Sivakarthikeyan’s film ‘Don’ has strengthened his position in Tamil cinema by earning Rs 100 crore in just two weeks. This is Sivakarthikeyan’s second consecutive big hit after the 100 crore success of ‘Doctor’ in October last year. The film is directed by debutant director Sibi Chakraborty.
