Sukhwinder Sukhu: I don’t understand what kind of aggressive propaganda this is. Such propaganda is done by the party which is afraid of going to power. PM Modi and BJP leaders are trying to fill their cadre with such propaganda. Basically their feet have been uprooted from the ground. 5 years did not work. BJP has dual policies.
First opposed familyism and now gave tickets to the sons of many leaders including Narendra Bragta’s son Chetan Bragta and Mahendra Thakur’s son Rajat. These people put Dhumal sahib as “Khuddeline”. When Dhami, a loser can become CM in Uttarakhand, why not make Dhumal sahib in Himachal? BJP is doing injustice to Dhumal.

Bhaskar: For the first time in four-five decades, Congress is contesting elections without Virbhadra Singh. Is the party missing him?
Sukhwinder Sukhu: When a leader passes away, his legacy is carried on by the younger generation. Be it Yashwant Singh Parmar, Ramlal Thakur or Virbhadra Singh. A new leadership is coming after 40 years. For 40 years, Virbhadra Singh kept distributing tickets as the chairman of the election campaign committee, CM, state president and CLP leader. Today he is not with us. After his departure, the first challenge before us came in the 2021 by-elections. We crossed him with strategy.
We have always said that the organization should be big, not individuals in the state. When the organization is big then “Hand” represents it. So the mark of “Hand” is our face. After that the eligibility of being an MLA is required to become the CM. Dhumal sahib could not become CM even after being declared CM face, because the people of Sujanpur did not vote for him. All the 68 winning MLAs should keep the Chief Minister’s thinking.
