An attempt has been made to spoil the atmosphere in Jharkhand’s Lohardaga and Bokaro on Sunday. The first incident took place in Hirahi village of Sadar police station area of Lohardaga. In this, stones were pelted on the procession of Ram Navami. Stones were also thrown on the Rajdhani Express from Ranchi to Delhi.
At the same time, stones were thrown in Ganju Mohalla located in Rajabeda of Phusro on the procession on Ramnavmi in Bermo area of Bokaro. After that the commotion started. Administration officials reached the spot. At present the situation is under control.
In Hirahi and nearby villages, miscreants set vehicles on fire.

There has been a ruckus in Hirahi and its surrounding villages after the information about stone throwing on the procession in Hirahi village of Sadar police station area of Lohardaga. The miscreants torched a dozen vehicles. Some miscreants pelted stones in Ramnavami fair in Bhokta Garden of Sadar police station area. After this, 10 motorcycles, three carts, one tempo, four cycles and several shops in the fair were set on fire at the fair site. Lakhs of rupees have been damaged in this incident.

After the commotion escalated, people from the other side set fire to two different houses near Bhokta Garden. After receiving information about the disturbance, DC-SP, DDC, SDO, DSP as well as top officials of Lohardaga district and police administration reached the spot.

Heavy police force has been deployed. Three people have also received serious injuries in this incident. His treatment is going on in Sadar Hospital. The situation remains tense in villages like Hirahi, Kujra, Bhokta Garden etc. However, the situation in Lohardaga urban area is normal so far. The police administration is busy in stopping the violence.

Stone pelting on bike procession
Stones were pelted on a bike procession in Ganju Mohalla, Rajabeda of Phusro on Ram Navami in Bermo area of Bokaro. The situation turned tense after the incident. As soon as the information was received, the SDO, DSP along with the police administration reached the spot. The police stopped the bike procession there. In protest, the people involved in the procession left the bike and left.
