A green spider was spotted crawling across Queen Elizabeth’s coffin during her funeral in London.

As Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin was being carried into Westminster Abbey in London, a green spider was spotted crawling across Queen Elizabeth’s coffin.
The glimpses were part of the live broadcast hosted by the BBC. Netizens spotted the uninvited guest and called it the ‘most famous spider’.
The arachnid was seen moving on a handwritten card placed in some beautiful flowers on top of the Queen’s coffin before it disappeared.

On Monday morning, Queen Elizabeth’s coffin was taken from the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament) to Westminster Abbey for the State funeral.
The nation bid its final farewell in Westminster Abbey, in an event which was attended by over 2,000 dignitaries including world leaders.

Soon after, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch was laid to rest at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, bringing an end to days of public mourning. The Queen’s coffin was lowered into the royal vault next to her husband, Prince Philip.
The Queen’s final resting place will be the King George VI memorial chapel, a small annex to the main chapel at Windsor. The Queen’s parents and sister, Princess Margaret, also rest at this chapel in Windsor Castle.
The Instruments of State; the Imperial State Crown and the Orb and Sceptre have remained with Her Majesty’s coffin.

The burial service was an entirely private affair with only members of the Royal Family present at Windsor Castle.
