A SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Dubai had to make an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan on Tuesday. All the passengers on the flight are safe. The airline said in its statement – SpiceJet B737 flight number SG-11 was going from Delhi to Dubai. It was during this time that a fault was detected in the aircraft’s indicator. Thereafter the flight was diverted to Karachi. However, SpiceJet did not consider it an emergency landing.

According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), there is a possibility of leakage from the fuel tank of the aircraft. NDTV quoted DGCA as saying – During the flight, the crew realized that the level of the fuel tank of the aircraft was suddenly decreasing.
In other words, the indicator in the cockpit showed that the fuel was depleting much faster than normal. For this reason the pilot had to make a landing in Karachi. It would be more correct to call it a precautionary landing rather than an emergency.
another flight will be sent
According to SpiceJet, there was no prior information about any defect in the aircraft. Refreshments are being provided to the passengers. An aircraft is being sent from Delhi to Karachi. From this, passengers will go to Dubai. This is the fourth incident of emergency landing of a SpiceJet flight in two weeks.
Smoke started rising from Delhi-Jabalpur flight
Earlier on Saturday (July 2), SpiceJet flight number SG-2962 going from Delhi to Jabalpur was landed in Delhi. When smoke appeared in the cabin of the Delhi-Jabalpur flight, the plane was at an altitude of 5000 feet. This flight took off from Delhi airport at 6:15 am. Within minutes, smoke started filling the aircraft.
On Saturday, smoke started filling the Delhi-Jabalpur SpiceJet flight due to some reason. This flight was brought back to Delhi.
Similar incident happened in Patna also.
On June 19, in Patna too, sparks started coming out in the left wing of the SpiceJet aircraft during takeoff. After this, its emergency landing was made in Patna itself. In the initial investigation, a case of bird hit was revealed. There were 185 passengers on board the plane.
At the time of emergency landing in Patna on June 19, 185 passengers were on board the plane.
Apart from this, due to a technical fault in the SpiceJet plane going from Delhi to Guwahati on June 19, the landing was made in Delhi itself. There were 165 passengers on board the plane.
