Sonam Kapoor Ahuja looked every bit of a dream and aced the look in the traditional attire of Ladakh
The pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, were held in Jamnagar, Gujarat from March 1st to March 3rd. Distinguished guests from various fields, including sports, films, and technology, attended these events. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja too attended the three-day grand bash in Jamnagar and like always her sartorial choices are making the headlines for all the right reasons.
Sonam is often referred to as a ‘fashion icon’ and she definitely does live up to that title with the marvellous outfits that she chooses and the way she carries them. Sharing the picture on Instagram, Sonam wrote, “Since the night was dedicated to heritage ,Introducing the traditional attire of Ladakh: The Mogos, the primary garment, paired with the Bok cape for warmth, showcases the rich cultural tapestry influenced by the Silk Route. Crafted from silk by artisans of Benaras, this ensemble features intricate phoenix embroidery symbolizing energy and wisdom, with a crane motif representing peace and prosperity.”
Sonam looked impeccable in traditional Mogos and Bok designed by Namza Couture, a brand that celebrates the roots of Ladakh. Styled by Rhea Kapoor and Manisha Melwani, Sonam accessorised her look with stellar pieces of jewellery which she borrowed from her mother Sunita Kapoor and her mother-in-law Priya Ahuja. From the mesmerising neckpiece to the handcuff to the pair of ethereal earrings, everything just added more sheen and glamour to the already fabulous ensemble.
The attention to detail is what elevated the look to a whole other dimension, Sonam’s dedication towards presenting perfect looks is truly endearing. She also carried a custom-made bag from the shelves of the brand Re-ceremonial and completed the look with Jootis designed by 5 Elements by Radhika Gupta.
Sonam’s makeup was right on point, from the eye makeup to the blush work on the cheeks everything was a 100 out of 10. A simple nude glossy lip shade along with structured eyebrows added to the wonder element. The hairdo looked regal and complimented the feel and vibe of her attire.
