The family of the deceased will now approach the Punjab Haryana and High Court for a CBI inquiry into the Sonali Phogat murder case. An appointment with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has also been sought. Sonali’s nephew Vikas gave this information and said that the family members are not satisfied with the investigation of Goa Police, so now they will go to the High Court, so that the CBI investigates the case and the truth comes in front of the world, Sonali gets justice.
Goa Police passing time since 4 days
On the other hand, Sonali’s brother Rinku Dhaka said that a 2-member team of Goa Police is in Haryana for 4 days to investigate the murder. First searched Sonali’s farm house. Then searched the house of Sant Nagar for 2 days. Seized 3 diaries and sealed one locker. Checked CCTV footage, but not captured. On Sunday, he went to the house of Sudhir Sangwan in Rohtak and inquired. Took details of bank accounts, also took property records from Tehsil.
Rinku said that many things have come to the fore, but the Goa Police is not satisfied with the investigation. The team is passing the time. In the name of investigation, fraud is being done. The purpose of Goa Police coming here is just to pass the time, so that as much time goes by and the matter gets old. So now we will file the writ in the High Court. Will demand a CBI inquiry to get justice for the sister. A letter has also been written to Supreme Court Chief Justice Uday Umesh Lalit.
Sudhir removed the mobile and many things from the room
Sonali Phogat’s brother Rinku Dhaka has claimed that Sudhir Sangwan and his accomplice Sukhwinder Singh have destroyed important evidence in the case. Both tampered with Sonali’s mobile phone and also made many things missing from her room. After Sonali’s death on the morning of 23 August, the duo continued to mislead the Goa Police till the evening of 25 August. Goa Police is yet to trace the call details of Sudhir’s phone.
Rinku said that Goa Police registered a murder case against Sudhir and Sukhwinder after three days. Had the Goa Police registered an FIR against Sudhir and Sukhwinder and arrested both of them on the morning of 23 August, then many important evidences could have been found in their hands. On the evening of 23 August, when he reached Goa with his brother-in-law Aman Poonia, Sonali’s mobile phone was with Sudhir. Sudhir kept using the phone for 12 hours.
When he objected to this, the Goa Police officers could not answer. What did Sudhir tamper with Sonali’s mobile in these 12 hours? It should be detected. After Sonali’s death, the Goa Police did not even seal the resort room where Sonali stayed. Sudhir kept using this room for three days. What did he remove or disappear from the room in these 3 days? It should be invested.
Sonali was also taken to Sudhir Tantrik.
Sonali’s estranged brother Rishabh Beniwal has told that to win Sonali’s trust, Sudhir even took her to a tantrik. Sudhir had already told a lot about Sonali to the tantrik. So when the tantrik told the same things to Sonali, he felt that the tantrik had reached a lot. Sudhir asked the same tantrik to ask Sonali to keep only such person around him, who is his confidant. Sonali has become more dependent on Sudhir since then.
Sonali could not resist Sudhir
Rishabh said that Sudhir had caught some of Sonali’s weakness, due to which she could not resist him. Sudhir had already taken Sonali away from her family. When he felt that I could raise his voice, he asked Sonali not to talk to me either. However, whenever Sudhir was not around, Sonali used to call and talk to me and often she used to cry.
Case should be handed over to CBI as soon as possible
Rinku said that Sudhir and Sukhwinder kept misleading the Goa Police for three days. This case should be handed over to CBI at the earliest to bring out the truth about my sister’s death. Our family has met Haryana CM Manohar Lal and made a written demand for it. Aba will go to the High Court. Have sought time to meet CM again. Sonali’s justice will be provided by the family.
