The murder case of Haryana BJP leader Sonali Phogat was taken over by the CBI on Thursday evening from the Goa Police. The CBI has registered a case in this regard by taking all the documents from the Goa Police. There are 5 accused in this murder case.
At the same time, SHO of Goa’s Anjuna Police Station Prashal Nayke Desai says that the CBI has not come to his police station yet. When the police come to the station and complete the paperwork, only then the case will be handed over to him. There is no information about when the CBI came.
On the complaint of Sonali’s brother Rinku, the Goa Police had registered a case against her Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder for murder and under NDPS Act. While a case was registered against club operators Edwin Nunis, Datta Prasad and Ramakant Masupa under the NDPS Act. Sonali’s family members were demanding a CBI inquiry into the entire matter. After which the Goa government had written a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs demanding a CBI inquiry.

Sonali Phogat died on 23 August in Goa. He was accompanied by his PA Sudhir and Sukhwinder in Goa at that time. Sudhir called his brother at 8 am on Tuesday and informed about the death. Sonali’s family had alleged that Sudhir and Sukhwinder had murdered her. Sudhir wants to grab Sonali’s property. So he killed Sonali by giving him drugs.
Sonali’s brother Rinku filed a complaint with the Goa Police for murder against Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder. In the post-mortem report of Sonali, injury marks were found on her body. Based on this report, Goa Police registered a case of murder against Sonali’s PA Sudhir Sangwan and his accomplice Sukhwinder. So far, 5 people including the owner of the resort and the drug supplier have been arrested in this case.
In the Sonali murder case, Goa Police recovered passports, jewelery from the flats of Sudhir Sangwan and Sonali. Whereas property papers were recovered from the house in Hisar. Goa Police also recovered three diaries from Hisar and sealed the locker. At the same time, he got his Aadhar card made by giving the address of the house of an acquaintance of Sonali. The address of Sudhir’s Creative Agrotech Kachha Charmira Road, Rohtak is given. In the name of this, he wanted to take some part of Sonali’s land on lease.
