Sona Mohapatra Calls Out Shehnaaz Gill Again In Her Tweet, Fans Trend ‘Evil Eyes Off Shehnaaz’

New Delhi: Popular singer Sona Mohapatra, who recently got trolled after she took a dig at Shehnaaz Gill, has once again expressed her displeasure over Shenaaz working with MeToo accused Sajid Khan. On Tuesday, in reply to a tweet criticising the singer for tweeting against Shehnaaz, Sona once again called out the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant.

She wrote, “In my book of feminism, not ‘all women angels’ and nor are ‘all men’ monsters and women who puncture/set back the fight for equality by being opportunistic and suck up to serial sexual perverts like Sajjid Khan need to be held accountable and called out. Stop with this victimhood paid PR.”

In another tweet, she wrote, “Spend some money, time and effort on getting an education; music teacher, acting coach, voice-dialogue intonation coach and practice whatever other craft, you want to project as ur talent, profession. ‘Cute, glib talk , sucking up to successful men, buying PR, SM’, not success.”

Shehnaaz’s fans were unhappy with the singer’s tweets and started a trend against her and supporting Shehnaaz. ‘Evil eyes off Shehnaaz Gill’ started trending on Twitter on Wednesday, and her fans slammed Sona for attacking Shehnaaz for no reason.

It all started last week when Sona took a dig at Shehnaaz after a video went viral in which the latter can be seen pausing her performance after hearing azaan (call for prayer). Sona said that it reminded her of the time when Shehnaaz supported #MeToo accused Sajid Khan.

Sona tweeted: “All the twitter adulation for #ShehnaazGiII’s act of ‘respect’ today reminded me of her ‘support’, ‘reverence’ & ‘glorification’ of a multiple accused sex offender & pervert #SajjidKhan when he was platformed on National TV. Wished she had some respect for her sisterhood. #MeToo”

Post her tweet, she was badly trolled and while responding to them, she wrote: “Dear trolls trying to stand up for yet another starlet like Jacqueline, I don’t know what Shehnaz’s particular talent is as of now, apart from low-brow reality tv fame. But I do know the modus operandi of women of convenience, shortcuts who bust the good fight for a role/money.”

Shehnaaz Gill has not responded to Sona’s tweets.
