CBI arrested Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in Liquor Policy case after 8 hours of questioning. The probe agency said that Sisodia gave evasive answers during questioning. He did not cooperate with the investigation despite having evidence against him. That’s why he was arrested. The Kejriwal government had implemented the new liquor policy in Delhi in November 2021.
In-charge Excise Minister Sisodia is accused of corruption in framing and implementing the liquor policy. CBI will present him in the court today. Here, Arvind Kejriwal reached Sisodia’s house and called him innocent.
On the other hand, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that earlier Aam Aadmi Party used to bring out the list of most corrupt people in the country, today Kejriwal himself is going to the houses of corrupt people.
On the other hand, on the third and last day of the Congress session in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, Rahul Gandhi shared the story of his childhood. Rahul said- I was 6 years old in 1977. I didn’t know about the election. I asked mother what happened? Mother said that we are leaving the house. Till then I thought it was our home.
I asked mother why we are leaving the house. For the first time mother told me that this is not our house. This is government house. Now we have to leave from here. When I asked where to go, she says that she does not know where to go. I was surprised. I thought that was our house. It’s been 52 years since I don’t have a house. Sonia Gandhi looked emotional after listening to Rahul’s words.

1. Sisodia arrested in liquor policy case, IAS officer took Manish’s name during interrogation

CBI has arrested Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in liquor policy case. An IAS officer of the Excise Department had named Sisodia in the CBI’s interrogation. The officer said- Sisodia had made such a liquor policy, which does not make profit to the government, traders get big profit. Sisodia was interrogated on the basis of this statement.
According to sources, the IAS officer also accused Sisodia of destroying evidence. The CBI interrogated Sisodia and the officer by sitting face to face. Manish Sisodia is the second Aam Aadmi Party minister to be arrested by a central agency in less than a year. Earlier Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in May 2022.

4. 2 accused of Musewala murder were killed in jail, sharp weapons were used, Lawrence gang took responsibility
