Shraddha’s murder was pre-planned: Experts do not agree with Aftab’s statement, said – it was not a crime of anger

Dr. Sandeep Vohra, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist of Apollo Hospital, has called Aftab’s statement a lie. He said that Shraddha’s murder was not an incident of anger but a pre-planned conspiracy. Aftab, an accused in the Shraddha murder case, told the court on Tuesday that he killed his live-in partner in a fit of rage. Dr. Sandeep Bohra says that I do not agree with Aftab’s statement. When someone commits a crime in anger, then after some time he also realizes his mistake. Many times there are reports that one person shot another and then went to the police station and surrendered. At the same time, Aftab kept eliminating evidence for months after the murder. It is clear from this that he had already planned the murder of Shraddha. Dr. Bohra said that the kind of work done by Aftab after the murder can only be done by a psychopath and not a normal person. It seems that Aftab has no remorse for his actions.

Aftab lived on the first floor of this green colored building located on the Chhatarpur hill. He didn’t meet anyone. The people living in the building did not even know his name before this case.

It is not right to rely on Aftab’s statement: Dr. Sandeep
On Aftab repeatedly changing his statement, he said that such people should not be trusted. He will mislead the police by changing the statement. There was also a lack of support from Shraddha’s family in this whole matter. If there was support from the family, she might have been alive.

On the role of internet and social media in the matter, Dr. Vohra said that social media can lead to such barbaric incidents. People like Aftab are criminals by nature. That’s why when Shraddha asked to leave the house, he threatened to commit suicide. He often used to beat up Shraddha.

Aftab-Shraddha reached Delhi on 8th May, killed on 18th
Aftab-Shraddha came from Mumbai to Delhi on 8 May. From here started staying in hotels of Paharganj and then in South Delhi. After South Delhi, he had taken a flat near Mehrauli forest. On May 18, 10 days after reaching Delhi, 28-year-old Aftab murdered Shraddha and cut her into 35 pieces, which he kept in a 300-litre fridge for about three weeks. After this, everyday he used to go to throw these pieces in Mehrauli forest. Aftab had seen several crime movies and shows including the American crime show Dexter before the incident.
