Shraddha murder-like case in Jammu and Kashmir: Carpenter dismembers woman and throws body parts; was upset with the engagement

People are protesting against the murder of the woman. They are demanding the death penalty for the accused.

A case like Shraddha murder has come to light from Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Here a man cut a woman’s body into pieces and threw them at different places. According to the police, the name of the accused person is Shabir Ahmed and his age is 45 years. He is a carpenter by profession. The woman had recently got engaged, with which Ahmed was not happy.

The woman had gone missing on March 7, following which the family lodged a complaint with the police. When the police arrested Ahmed and questioned him, the reality came to the fore. Police have recovered body parts from many places on his spot.

After the murder of this 30-year-old woman, hundreds of people are protesting by gathering outside the house of the accused. They are demanding hanging of Ahmed.
