Shraddha Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the most loved celebrities in Tinsel Town. The actress has a different sense of charm, wit, and sensibility and also enjoys a massive fan following. She was recently awarded the Best Actress (Popular Choice) for her performance in the film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The awards were held on March 9 in Mumbai to celebrate the growing bond between the world of over-the-top (OTT) platforms and the Hindi film industry.
Sharing a photo of herself with the prestigious award, the actress wrote, ‘Ye Award Khaas Kyun Hai Batao???’ She then followed it up with writing, ‘Fans Ne Vote Karke Decide Kiya’, ‘Fans Ka Decision Sabse Special Hota Hai’.
Besides Shraddha, other actresses who were competing in the category were Deepika Padukone (Pathaan), Alia Bhatt (Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani), Kiara Advani (Satyaprem Ki Katha), Janhvi Kapoor (Bawaal), Rashmika Mandanna (Animal) and Katrina Kaif (Tiger 3).
Released in March 2023, Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar starred Shraddha Kapoor in the lead with Ranbir Kapoor. Their chemistry in the film was widely loved by the audience. Shraddha left everyone swooning with her performance in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Playing the role of Nisha, she brought the screen to life with her peppy avatar.
