Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday wished former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on his birthday. Shinde posted and said- I wish Jagdamba that you have a long life. Uddhav Thackeray turned 62 on Wednesday. This congratulatory message from Shinde has come after the interview given to Uddhav’s Saamana. In the interview, Uddhav had made controversial remarks about Shinde.

Uddhav said – Shinde and rebel MLAs are like rotten leaves
In an interview given to Sanjay Raut, executive editor of Saamna, Uddhav Thackeray lashed out at Eknath Shinde. Uddhav said- Even if I had made him (Shinde) the chief minister, his intentions are diabolical. Rotten leaves must fall from the tree. Those whom the tree has given everything, they themselves are leaving the tree. Those who got the most benefit left the party.

These were the people who want to swallow their own mother (the real Shiv Sena), but a mother is a mother after all. We will make extraordinary leaders out of ordinary people. He said- Shiv Sena is Balasaheb’s party and no one can separate him from the Thackeray family.

Emotional stakes of the battle of Delhi and Maharashtra
Uddhav also played emotional stakes during the interview. He said- Delhi has thrown me in the back. The conspiracy to topple the Maharashtra government was done when I was hospitalized and could not even move. This statement of Uddhav is being seen as a gamble to make Marathi vs Delhi fight.

Whose case in Shiv Sena, Court and Commission
Whose 65 years old is Shiv Sena? The matter is currently before the Supreme Court and the Election Commission. On August 1, the Supreme Court is to hear 5 petitions, including the membership of 16 rebels of the Shinde faction. Here, the commission has also asked Shinde and Uddhav faction to file a reply by August 8.

Shiv Sena’s political crisis started on June 20
After the Rajya Sabha and Legislative Council elections in Maharashtra, the political crisis of Shiv Sena started on June 20. 30 MLAs, including stalwart leader Eknath Shinde, left Mumbai first for Surat and then for Guwahati. After 10 days of political drama, Uddhav Thackeray resigned on 29 June, after which Eknath Shinde became the Chief Minister on 30 June with the support of BJP.
