Sheezan Khan’s Family Publicly Refutes ‘Love Jihad’ Allegations In Tunisha Sharma Case

New Delhi: The news of Tunisha Sharma’s death has stunned the entire television industry. On December 24, 2022, the actress took her own life on the sets of ‘Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul’. She hung herself in the dressing room of her co-star and ex-boyfriend, Sheezan Mohammed Khan. December 26th, Waliv Police in the Palghar district detained the 27-year-old actor. The actor’s judicial detention, after his arrest for allegedly aiding Tunisha Sharma’s suicide, has been prolonged for 14 days.

At a press conference, Sheezan’s mother and sisters, Shafaq Naaz and Falaq Naaz responded to these allegations made by Tunisha’s family. They also refuted claims that Sheezan used drugs or was violent towards Tunisha.

Sheezan’s sister and co-actor Shafaq Naaz also addressed the viral photographs of Tunisha wearing a hijab. For the unversed, numerous people shared a photo of Tunisha in a headscarf as “evidence” of the love jihad accusations.

Tunisha’s family had accused them of practising love jihad and black magic. Tunisha’s mother, Vanita Sharma, has made disturbing allegations about the nature of their connection. She said that Tunisha had once snooped on Sheezan’s phone. The two got into a fight when Tunisha overheard her talking to another female. According to Vanita, this was the last straw that led to the end of their relationship.

Sheezan’s family made the bold accusation that the actor is being “tortured in prison” during a news conference on Monday morning in Mumbai. Even while they did not specify how Sheezan is being tortured, the family made it clear that they want justice for Tunisha as well.
