As Covid-19 cases in China’s Shanghai show no signs of abating, the financial hub is reportedly running out of food, water and other necessities, with many said to be on the brink of starvation. Videos of residents yelling out from their balconies and windows in frustration have been doing the rounds on social media. People have been complaining about lack of food and medical care.
