Shahid Kapoor shares update on Farzi 2
Directed by Raj and DK, the black comedy crime thriller also featured Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Bhuvan Arora in key roles.
Shahid Kapoor, who will be soon seen in Tere Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya, made his digital debut with Farzi. Fans were in awe of his performance and since then have been waiting for the second season. Well, the actor has confirmed earlier that the second season will come but the date has not been shared. However, today while promoting his next film, he conducted an Askme session in which a fan asked about the same. But it was his reply that went viral.
A fan asked him, “Sir waiting for Farzi season 2 @shahidkapoor twitter.com/anishaa0312/st…” On this Shahid Kapoor replied, “ART banana mein time lagta hai kachra jaldi ban jata hai.” Speaking at Pinkvilla’s Masterclass, Shahid said, “So of course, the second season of Farzi will happen. I mean, the response was amazing. Also, the way the story ended, it was open-ended so there is an opportunity for a lot more to happen. It was not like a culmination. So Farzi 2 will happen, and if anything else I like, I will, but as of now, I haven’t said yes to anything for OTT because I had two releases this year, so I’m going to do some stuff for theatres now. But Farzi 2 will definitely happen.”

Meanwhile, Shahid and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming film is scheduled to be released on February 9. Talking about the trailer, opens with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s romantic scenes. Both are seen flirting with each other. However, in the next scene, Shahid is seen introducing her to his family. Till now, he is not aware that Kriti is a robot and what her name Sifra means. As the video proceeds we see how nicely she has adjusted with Shahid’s family till one night she falls dead. Shahid’s aunt Dimple Kapadia informs him that her battery is dead and she is in charging mode. Shahid was shocked and what happens next is more interesting.
