Shahid Kapoor fell during his 54th IFFI Film Festival performance on Monday night. IFFI, short for International Film Festival of India, kicked off on Monday with a star-studded opening ceremony. From Karan Johar to Sunny Deol, several stars were present at the grand launch. As part of the launch, Shahid Kapoor took the centre stage to perform on some of his biggest hit songs but no one was prepared to see him fall.

In a video shared online, Shahid was seen dancing his heart out with his fellow dancers. While he set the stage on fire with his performance, as the performance came to an end, the Haidar star slipped and fell. Although an embarassing moment, Shahid did not let him affect him. He quickly got back on his feet and struck the end pose. He blew kisses at everyone present in the room.

Aparshakti Khurana and Karishma Tanna hosted the ceremony at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium on Monday. Apart from Shahid’s performance, Madhuri was honoured at the ceremony. She was given the Special Recognition for Contribution to Bharatiya Cinema award.
