Shahid Kapoor Celebrates One Year of Farzi, Calls It ‘Piece Of Art’; Fans Demand For Season 2 Already – News18

Shahid Kapoor, who is basking under the success of his recently released romantic drama Teri Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya, made his OTT debut with Farzi which was loved by the audience. His performance received an overwhelming response. Fans are eagerly waiting for the second season and never leave any chance of asking about it. Just like today, Shahid celebrated one year of Farzi with a video that instantly went viral. He has called the show an ART.

Sharing the video, Shahid wrote, “1 year to this piece of “ART”. The video is a compilation of all the shots focussing on Shahid. Fans were also quick enough to react and ask about the season 2. One of the fans asked, “Kon kon season 2 ka wait kar raha hai.” Another wrote, “Season 2 kab aane wala hai?” Recently, he conducted an Askme session in which a fan asked about the same. But it was his reply that went viral. A fan asked him, “Sir waiting for Farzi season 2 @shahidkapoor twitter.com/anishaa0312/st…” On this Shahid Kapoor replied, “ART banana mein time lagta hai kachra jaldi ban jata hai.”

Speaking at Pinkvilla’s Masterclass, Shahid said, “So of course, the second season of Farzi will happen. I mean, the response was amazing. Also, the way the story ended, it was open-ended so there is an opportunity for a lot more to happen. It was not like a culmination. So Farzi 2 will happen, and if anything else I like, I will, but as of now, I haven’t said yes to anything for OTT because I had two releases this year, so I’m going to do some stuff for theatres now. But Farzi 2 will definitely happen.”

Directed by Raj and DK, the black comedy crime thriller also featured Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Bhuvan Arora in key roles. The series was released on Amazon Prime Video in February earlier this year.

Apart from this, Shahid Kapoor also has Deva in his kitty.
