Haryana Government has closed all private and government schools, colleges, ITIs, coaching centres, Anganwadi, crches in the state till January 12 in view of the increasing cases of corona and the new variant Omicron. Also, the number of people attending wedding ceremonies and other programs has been limited. While taking special strictness in Gurugram, Faridabad, Ambala, Sonipat and Panchkula districts, orders have been issued to open the market till 5 pm.
Haryana government has issued new guidelines from January 2 to January 12 under the epidemic safety alert. Special instructions have been issued for some districts especially those in Group A category namely Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ambala and Panchkula. Deputy Commissioner Sonipat Lalit Siwach has clarified that a decision will be taken regarding these orders of the government at 12 noon on Sunday. After that the situation in Sonipat will be clear.
New conditions for five districts in the new guideline:
- All cinema halls will remain closed in these districts.
- Market-malls will open till 5:00 pm.
- Apart from the players, the swimming pool is closed for all the people.
- Up to 50% seating capacity allowed in bars and restaurants.
- Apart from the essentials, 50 percent attendance has been advised in all the offices.
Strict adherence to “no mask-no service” will be done in the state
In view of Corona, the government has ordered the closure of all schools, colleges, ITIs, coaching centers, Anganwadi, crches in the state. The NGOs and Urban Local Bodies Department have been advised to distribute masks among the public. “No mask-no service” will be strictly followed in the state.
Number set to participate in programs
For the family and social programs to be held in all the districts of the state, the government has fixed the number of participants. Now till further orders, not more than 50 people will be able to attend the funeral and only 100 people in the marriage.
