A man clashed with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma ahead of the Visarjan procession of Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti. Assam CM and Udupi Saint Pejavar Swami Dharmadhikari were both present on the stage when a man came forward from behind them and tried to snatch the mike.
The incident happened seconds after Sarma reached the stage in MJ Market area of Telangana capital Hyderabad. He was yet to speak.

The person who snatched the mike by climbing onto the stage is being told as Nand Kishore Vyas, a local leader of Telangana Rashtra Samithi. According to the police, abusive words were used for TRS leader KCR from the stage, due to which he reached the stage and started snatching the mike from the member of Ganeshotsav committee and Himanta. But the police and others present caught him and handed him over to the police.
The man, wearing a pink kandua (dupatta), was shouting ‘Jai KCR’ when the police was taking him away.
