The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has pointed out shortcomings in the panel of DGPs sent by the Haryana government. UPSC has asked the government to answer for this in three points. Along with this, the dossier and other important documents of former state DGP Manoj Yadav have also been sought.

After this letter from UPSC, Haryana Home Department’s Additional Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad has decided to get all the documents related to Manoj Yadav from DGP Headquarters. For this, a letter has been sent to the DGP Headquarters asking them to send all the information as soon as possible.

Anil Vij will take approval from CM
After receiving all the documents from the Haryana DGP Headquarters, approval will be given by Chief Minister Manohar Lal to send the documents to UPSC through State Home Minister Anil Vij. After this, Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal will give the Integrity Certificate. Then the information related to the documents will be sent to the Union Public Service Commission.

Earlier, in the proposal sent by the government, it was written that IPS Manoj Yadav has expressed reluctance for DGP, so his documents are not being sent.

UPSC counted these 3 shortcomings

In the mail sent by the Union Public Service Commission on July 13, three shortcomings were counted in the DGP panel.

  1. Integrity certificate, ACR dossier and bio-data of first IPS Manoj Yadav were not sent.
  2. The ACR sent to the Commission for preparing the second deficiency panel is valid as per the rules, the certificate was not sent.
  3. In the third shortcoming, the commission has written that this certificate was also not sent in the panel sent by the government, in which the instructions of the court in the ACR of the officers, the instructions sent by the government have been included in the dossier and ACR.

Names of 10 officers in the panel
With the extension of service of 1988 batch IPS officer PK Aggarwal, the Haryana government has sent a panel of 10 senior IPS officers to the UPSC for the new DGP. These include the names of RC Mishra, Mohammad Aqueel, Shatrujit Kapoor, Deshraj Singh, Alok Kumar Rai, SK Jain, Om Prakash Singh, Ajay Singhal, Alok Mittal and Arshinder Singh Chawla.
