Security lapse during Congress government
At the time when there was a lapse in PM’s security, there was a Congress government in Punjab. Charanjit Channi was the CM of that government. When the PM was going to participate in the rally in Ferozepur, the farmers blocked the highway. Due to which suddenly the convoy of PM got stuck on a flyover. This flyover was also close to the India-Pakistan border. However, CM Channi refused to consider it a security lapse. Channi said that the PM did not get any scratch, then how could his life be in danger?
